Baltimore Year-Round Program Eligibility

A successful applicant of the BYR program would have the following:

Be a Baltimore City Public School sophomore, junior or senior
Have no or very limited after school commitments
Have and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
Are committed to fully participating in the program
Submitted Letter of Recommendation
Submitted Parent/Guardian Consent

BYR's mission is to provide a comprehensive out-of-school time paid leadership skills training equipping you for success after high school.

Application Instructions

Complete the full application. Your application will not be completed until you press the "SUBMIT" button.

2. You do not have to finish the application in one session. You can select the option to "Save" and return at a later time" at the top right-hand side of your screen.

3. Once you have successfully completed your application, your Parent/Guardian will be emailed a Consent form at the Email provided. This must be submitted in order to be eligible to participate in BYR.

4. Once you have successfully completed, the person you asked to complete your Letter of Reference will be notified so they can submit that letter.

Although Baltimore Year-Round makes every effort to accommodate individual preferences for Internship location, I understand and accept the condition that Baltimore Year-Round will make Internship placements based on numerous factors and my first choice Internship is not guaranteed.
